Barolo

An enormously robust wine that has a good depth of colour, it is made from the Nebbiolo grape. The best commercially produced Barolos are aged in oak for four to five years. Optional oak chippings included.

Californian Red
from £11.25More informationCalifornia Red is produced from the Zinfandel grape which is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignane. The wine is deep in colour and the flavour is spicy, peppery with a hint of red berries and/or dark cherries.
It is usually served cool at around 18C, which is neither room temperature nor fridge temperature but somewhere in the middle!
