This 25 watt, 220-240 volt heating belt is made in New Zealand. It is suitable for use with either a 5 gallon brewing bucket or a five gallon fermenter but not with a one gallon demijohn. The overall length of the plastic sheath enclosing the heating element is 95 cm long.
Each end of the sheath is fitted with an eyelet. These are joined by a cord with an adjustable toggle that makes it easy to adjust the belt and to fit it onto a container. -

This is a new design of heating tray, produced in New Zealand, which is an enormous improvement on anything we have been able to offer in the past few years. The top face is 37.5cm by 19cm, which is perfect to take two demijohns.
It is strongly made from flame retarded injection moulded polycarbonate, is splash resistant and being rated at 20 Watts is powerful enough to raise the temperature by about 5C whilst still remaining economical to run.
It is suitable for wine, kombucha, and also for kidney dialysis bags! -

Thorne Electrim 75 Immersion Heater

A fully waterproof thermostatically controlled glass tubed immersion heater. It is suitable for glass and plastic containers and volumes between 1and 5 gallons. The support bung is designed to fit standard demijohn neck holes of 1 1/8" diameter and the unit is rated at a powerful 75 watts. It is pre-set at the factory to maintain a temperature of between 22 -24C, but this can be varied using an external adjustment.
The heater needs to immersed to a minimum depth of 19cm, above a level marked on the tube. A neon indicates when the heater is operating.
