12 litre Cross Beam Press
£285.00More information
We bought one of these presses over 20 years ago and it is still going strong having produced many hundreds of gallons of juice.

This is our best selling press, often bought with the accompanying crusher. It has a cast iron base, legs and crossbeam, with an oak slatted cage bound with steel hoops and a steamed beech pressing plate.

Crusher A to fit 12 litre press
£245.00More information
If the pressure plate of the 12 litre press is swung to one side and lowered just a few turns, the oak supporting frame of this crusher fits neatly over the cage.
Small fruits can be processed whole, but large apples and pears may need to be roughly chopped into quarters before feeding into the stainless steel hopper.
Contra-rotating blades driven by the cast iron flywheel then crush the fruit which falls through into the cage of the press.
When this is full, simply remove the crusher, swing the pressure plate back, tighten down the wing nut and press the juice out.
Length 58cm, width 35cm, weight 8.5kg, hopper 30cm by 33cm. -

Steam Juicer
£99.50More information
Making pure fresh juice at home is clean and easy with this juicer. Steam gently opens up the juice cells in fruits, berries and vegetables, and the juice runs out, pip free, ready for making into wine or for bottling. It is suitable for use with, amongst others, apples, blackberries, currants, elderberries, grapes, peaches, pears, plums, raspberries, rhubarb and strawberries.
To extract juice simply:-
Add 4-5 litres of water to the water pan.
Place the juice container on top of it and check that the plastic tube and clamp are in place.
Rinse the fruit, berries etc and place them in the 7.5 litre fruit basket on top of the juice container.
Place the Steamer Lid on the top and bring the water to boil on the cooker.
Steam for about 30 minutes, and then start to drain pure fresh juice from the hose on the juice collector.
The Heavy Duty induction base on the water pan makes this suitable for any heat source, gas, electric, ceramic or halogen. This steamer is made in Sweden from the finest quality 18/10 brushed Stainless Steel with a heavy weight glass lid to enable progress to be monitored.
Two tips! Firstly, if you do more than one batch, remember to check the water level as you may need to top it up. Secondly, do remember to run the juice off to prevent the juice container from overflowing!
