Rotating Sparge Arm
£30.00More information
This is a self-powered rotating sparge arm which produces a fine evenly distributed spray enabling an efficient sparge to be easily achieved.
With one end of the supplied clear tubing attached to the top of the sparge arm simply attach the other end to your hot liquor tank (a suitable connector will be required).
The flat white plate (95mm by 390mm) sits on top of your boiler / lauter tun with the rotating arm suspended below. A movable O ring on the shaft enables the height of the arm to be adjusted to a suitable vertical position.
As the liquor runs through the arm this rotates providing a fine spray over your mash.
The vertical shaft is 200mm long .The rotating arm is 290mm but it can be trimmed if necessary. -
Stainless Steel Boiler - 110 litres
£285.00More information
This 110 litre boiler, made from high grade 304 stainless steel with hammer finish, is suitable for boiling up to 75 litres of wort.
It is fitted with two 3kW heating elements, both being fitted with an adjustable thermostat - max 80°C (this can be removed if desired).
It is normal to have one element with and one without a thermostat so that at low wort temperatures both elements are on full until a temperature of about 80°C is reached at which point one element cuts out to prevent boil-over.
Please ensure that the electricity supply is adequate to service these elements.
It has a hop strainer and the steel ball valve tap has a polypropylene spout.
A power supply cable is provided but this is not fitted and will need to be done by a competent electrician.
110 Litre: Height 740 mm Diameter 465 mm
We also supply stainless steel boilers for use with a gas burner.
These are ideal for use where a 240V electrical supply suitable for use with a high load is not available or where an element exposed to the wort is not desired.
These boilers have a heavy duty base and a stainless steel ball valve tap.
Gas burners are available please view these also.
By adjusting the heat output from the burner the wort can be raised quickly to the boil at which point the heat can be reduced to maintain a strong rolling boil without risking caramelisation.

The Maltmill
£275.00More information
The MALTMILL is an authentic two-roller mill that enables homebrewers to turn out textbook quality milled grain. It crushes the malt, leaving the husk intact while producing a minimum of flour.
Anyone who uses whole grains quickly realises that makeshift grinders and food processors are totally unsuitable for milling malt. They create vast amounts of flour that make clear beer virtually impossible, whilst leaving large amounts of grain untouched or merely broken. At the same time they pulverise or shred the husks, which severely limits the quality of the filter bed needed when sparging.
The MALTMILL is provided with a nominal spacing of .045" between the rollers. The roller journals ride in oil-impregnated bronze bearings, pressed into aluminium castings. A coarse textured surface on the rollers prevents the grain from slipping and is the key to providing an efficient mill at far less cost then conventional multiple stage roller mills.
The MALTMILL produces an excellent crush on all commonly used malt. It will process a pound of grain in less than 15 seconds and enough for a five-gallon batch in less than five minutes with little effort. It is designed to sit on top of a bucket or mash tun so that the milled product falls in and any dust created is contained. It can also be bolted or clamped to a worktable for more stable or permanent operation.
It is designed to last forever and any part that does not will be replaced at no charge. This is a full Lifetime Warranty.
