The de-gasser is specially designed for mixing and stirring wine or beer, and for degassing.
Manufactured with high quality polycarbonate, with ABS blades and a long stainless steel insert.
The blades act like a propeller for maximum mixing and stirring efficiency.
It fits any electric hand drill but one with variable speed and reversing capability is best.

Wines can be slow to clear when they contain high levels of the CO2 gas that is produced during the fermentation.
This tool removes the gas so speeding up the clearing process.
It has a stainless steel shaft just under 40cm in length, food grade plastic paddles and a high-density plastic bung.
It has been designed for use with 5 gallon containers, and is not suitable for 1 gallon demijohns.
When used with an electric drill running at a slow speed this tool will easily remove the gas from your wine within minutes. -

If your wine kit instructions call for periodic, vigorous stirring to de-gas your wine, The Whip can save a lot of effort.
