A popular general purpose top fermenting ale yeast produced in Belgium. This performs well in beers with alcohol contents of up to 7.5% but can ferment up to 11.5% ABV. It produces superb flavours in a wide range of styles including Belgian wheat and Trappist beers and can also be used for bottle-conditioning. The recommended fermentation temperature range is 15 -24°C.
Low attenuation (high final gravity) with medium sedimentation.

Safbrew T-58 is a specialty ale yeast selected for its estery, somewhat peppery and spicy flavour. This yeast forms a solid sediment at the end of secondary fermentation and is therefore widely used for bottle and cask conditioning. It has medium flocculation, an attenuation of 67-73% and it's ideal fermentation temperature is in the range of 18C -22 C.
