Black Rock Cider

Black Rock Cider is produced from apples grown in New Zealand's premium orchards at the Canterbury Brewery in Christchurch. This is part of one of the largest brewing groups in the world, Lion-Nathan.
It needs the addition of 1kg of sugar for the initial fermentation and makes 23 litres (40 pints) of traditional sparkling or still cider. It has a clean refreshing taste and an alcohol content of about 4.2% ABV. -
Brewmaker Deluxe Cider

For many years CWE Explosive Cider was manufactured for them by British Diamalt. When CWE closed Diamalt continued producing this concentrate to the same recipe and, since Diamalt closed, it is made by Muntons. Now labelled as Brewmaker De Luxe Cider, it comes complete with cider yeast and yeast nutrient (diammonium phosphate).
This kit contains 1.75kg of concentrate and needs the addition of either 1kg of sugar to produce 40 pints (22.7 litres) of cider with an ABV of approximately 5% or 1.25 1kg of sugar to produce 32 pints (18.2 litres) of a strong white cider with an ABV of approximately 7%. -
Finlandia Apple and Pear Cider

This cider is produced in Finland from a blend of apples and pears. It contains 1.45kg of concentrate and comes complete with a sachet of cider yeast.
The recipe provided shows how to make sparkling cider in three weeks with an alcohol content from 2.6% to 6.1% by varying both the quantity made (16, 20 or 24 litres) and the weight of sugar in the primary fermentation. -
John Bull Country Cider

Containing 1.75kg of quality European apple juice concentrate, this premium cider kit produces a full-flavoured, sparkling medium dry traditional country cider.
Use this ingredient kit, along with standard brewing equipment, to make either 40 pints of Traditional Cider at approx 5% ABV or 32 pints of Strong Cider at approx 7% ABV.

The kit contains 3.5kg of apple concentrate, it requires no additional sugar apart from that used for priming, and it makes 30 pints with an ABV of 5%. -

This makes a sparkling West Country style cider which can be bottled or barrelled.
It contains 1.7kg of apple juice concentrate, comes with a sachet of yeast, requires the addition of 1kg of sugar and makes 40 pints of cider with an ABV of about 4.5%.
This particular cider has a beautiful bouquet aided by the inclusion of a little malt extract & makes a wonderfully balanced cider - converted me into cider drinking, aided in the knowledge of apple juice's anti-oxidant properties.
Thoroughly digestible.
