About the Hop Shop

The Hop Shop was founded in July 1973 and since then has been supplying quality home wine and brewing supplies to its customers throughout the West Country from its Plymouth base. The shop is well stocked with a huge range to satisfy the needs of all, from the complete novice to the most dedicated enthusiast. It is run by a knowledgeable husband and wife team, Hywel and Rosemary Edwards, who both have a wealth of experience in making quality wines and beers.

Our newly opened temperature-controlled demonstration room has room to accommodate up to ninety 5-gallon batches of wine, and it is here that we produce our wine samples.
