A new, handy and accurate pH meter in a waterproof housing with an easily readable display and a replaceable electrode. Before being used for the first time, or if it has not been used for a long time, the meter will need to be calibrated. This can be done simply using buffer solutions (not supplied). Single point calibration, by adjustment of the trimmer inside the battery compartment, is sufficient to the value closest to your use: for beer and wine, calibrate to pH 4.01: for acidity measurements with standard caustic potash solution, calibrate to pH 7.01.
Range: 0.00 - 14.00 pH, reading: 0.01 pH.Accuracy: 0.05 pH
