Butler - Hockheimer
£26.75
Butler Wine kits, originally called Winemaster Connoisseurs Kwik Wines, were designed to replicate their commercial equivalent both in taste and alcohol content.
In 1998 a vineyard in Cornwall was fined for selling bottles of wine produced from this range of kits to local hotels as 'Estate Grown Table Wine'. There was no criticism of the quality of the wine but they were prosecuted because it was incorrectly labelled under the Trade Descriptions Act!
The Hockheimer produces 30 bottles of light white wine with a touch of sweetness in the style of Hock.
Makes 30 bottles.
