Muscadet

The combination of flinty dryness with a clean fresh acidity makes Muscadet an excellent everyday wine.
The 1 gallon (6 bottle) kit contains 1.5 litres of juice, whilst the 5 gallon (30 bottle) kit contains 7.5 litres.
Both are complete kits; the yeast, bentonite, stabiliser, oak chips (the use of which is optional) and finings are all included and no additional sugar is needed.

These natural wine bottle corks are of the standard size, 38mm by 22mm mm, used by home winemakers. They have been washed in a hydrogen peroxide solution that disinfects and cleans deep into the cork.
These have not been filled but they have they been wax-treated and it is anticipated that these will be inserted into the bottles dry, without being soaked before use.
For best results we recommend that these be inserted using a good quality corker such as the Easy, Gilda or a Floor Standing model. -

The Easy Corker

With the metal handles up, and the corker placed on top of the wine bottle, a cork is inserted into the slot provided. Simply lowering the twin handles causes a spring in the main nylon body to grip the bottleneck, and at the same time the plunger pushes the cork into the bottle.
No wonder they call this the Easy Corker! -

Priced at the rate equivalent to 65p per bottle these are full size (75cl) clear glass wine bottles.
An excellent medium in which to store your wine & allow it to mature & develop.
With the administration of a sterilant they are reusable.
They are about 300mm tall and they accept standard size wine corks & with shrink wraps will minimise the effects of oxidisation.
