Brupaks Craftsman Ingredients Packs are an ideal introduction to Extract Brewing.
Extract brewing, the intermediate step toward fully mashed beers.
Use these packs in conjuction with 2 tins X 1.5kg of liquid malt extract to produce some of the finest home made beers avaliable.
The crushed grains and whole hops go to reproduce the varoius beer styles authenticated by the freshly boiled ingredients.
The process involves the boiling of the pack contents & then adding it to the liquid malt extract.

Brupaks Craftsman Ingredients Packs are an ideal introduction to brewing from unhopped malt extract in combination with a small quantity of crushed grains and whole hops.
The recipes have been carefully designed to produce truly authentic beers with the minimum of effort.
Each pack requires 2 x 1.5kg tins of Brupaks Premium Grade Pale Malt Extract (or 3kg bulk) to make 23l of beer (13l in the case of the Barley Wine).
No extra sugar is required.
Although it is preferable to boil the whole brew length a boiling pan of at least 10 litres will suffice.
Each pack comes with detailed brewing instructions.
For those who want to develop their skills in brewing these kits offer the opportunity to try something a little more complex and interesting.
They provide a useful stepping stone between hopped malt extract kits and partial / fully mashed beers.

The Hopped Light adds extra hops as well as more malt and is perfect as a general kit improver.
It is specifically designed to retain the beer's natural balance.

The Wheat is made from a blend of 55% Wheat Malt and 45% Barley Malt, this is great for improving the head formation and retention in beer. In small quantities it does not alter the beer's flavour, and the entire 500g pack can be used in a 5 gallon brew.

The Pale Malt Extract (concentrated brewers' wort) is made exclusively from Pale Malt, whilst chocolate malt is also used to make the Amber Extract.
We believe these to be amongst the best in the world. These extracts are exclusive to Brupaks and are not available under the Muntons label.
