Toohey's brewery dates from 1869, when John Thomas Toohey (an Irish immigrant) obtained his brewing license.
John Thomas Toohey and his brother James Matthew ran pubs in Melbourne (The Limerick Arms and The Great Britain) before moving to Sydney in the 1860s.
The company now brews 300 million litres of beer each year!

The Wheat is made from a blend of 55% Wheat Malt and 45% Barley Malt, this is great for improving the head formation and retention in beer.

The enhancer encourages a very rapid start to fermentation & create beverages with good body.
It contains simple fermentable sugars of maltose & dextrose.
This enhancer contains a blend of spray dried dextrose and spray dried malt extract which is simply added in place of sugar to any beer kit, a kilo for kilo.
This will ensure little opportunity for any contamination at the vulnerable start of the brewing process.
The spray malt portion of the Beer Kit Enhancer will improve head formation and head retention, overall flavour and increase the resultant body of the beer, making your beer more like the commercial equivalent.
It is simple to use.
Just follow the instructions provided on your beer kit substituting the Enhancer where sugar is used in the original recipe.
For simplicity, it is better to add the enhancer to the fermenter at the same time as the beer kit ingredients are being added and before the addition of any water.
