Brewmaker Deluxe Cider

For many years CWE Explosive Cider was manufactured for them by British Diamalt. When CWE closed Diamalt continued producing this concentrate to the same recipe and, since Diamalt closed, it is made by Muntons. Now labelled as Brewmaker De Luxe Cider, it comes complete with cider yeast and yeast nutrient (diammonium phosphate).
This kit contains 1.75kg of concentrate and needs the addition of either 1kg of sugar to produce 40 pints (22.7 litres) of cider with an ABV of approximately 5% or 1.25 1kg of sugar to produce 32 pints (18.2 litres) of a strong white cider with an ABV of approximately 7%.

This will produce a cleaner & faster ferment.
The sugar is a spray dried glucose which dissolves easily in cold liquids to form a syrup and importantly leaves no after taste.
It aids fast fermentation & can be used for priming during the secondary fermentation.
It is is highly recommended for use in making beers, liqueurs and wines in preference to household sugar.
Worth the extra pence per pint or bottle.
