If you are looking to retain your wine beyond 18 months then consider these corks.
They are natural & agglomerate standard quality corks but are larger (44x24mm) than the normal corks (38x22mm) & thus provide a tighter seal which will assist in minimising the risk of oxidation of your wine.
They do not need soaking other than in a weak solution of sterilant, and definitely require a powerful corker such as a floor standing model to insert them.
In this regard choose a corker with brass or metal plates, so that the process is a easy as possible & you obtain the maximum wear from the equipment.
