5 litre PET Demijohn

Being a thin-walled 5 Litre square plastic demijohn with ribbing this fermenter is very light in weight. It comes with a carrying handle, screw cap and a grommet to take an airlock.
Do note that whilst you will need an airlock if you want to use this for fermenation, because it comes complete with a cap fitted with a grommet to take the airlock, you will not need either a bored cork or bung as you would with glass demijohns.
It is an ideal starter 6 bottle fermenter & fits conveniently on a work top to facilitate the monitoring of the progress of the fermentation.
To minimise the possibility of distortion it is recommended that luke warm rather than boiling water be poured into this delicate fermenter.
