Stainless Steel Boiler - 55 litres

This 55 litre boiler, is made from high grade 304 stainless steel with a hammer finish & is suitable for boiling slightly in excess of 30 litres of wort.
It is fitted with a single 3kW heating element and a hop strainer.
Please ensure that the electricity supply is adequate to service this element.
The steel ball valve tap has a polypropylene spout.
A power supply cable is provided but not fitted and will need the services of a competent electrician.

We also supply stainless steel boilers for use with a gas burner.
These are ideal for use where a 240V electrical supply suitable for use with a high load is not available or where an element exposed to the wort is not desired.
These boilers have a heavy duty base and a stainless steel ball valve tap.

By adjusting the heat output from the burner the wort can be raised quickly to the boil at which point the heat can be reduced to maintain a strong rolling boil without risking caramelisation.
