A great little device which at a single stroke of the inner tube starts the syphon action without disturbing the sediment. (If there is no sediment present then the sediment trap at the base can be removed so that the maximum volume of liquid can be transfered).
It has an overall length, with the inner tube retracted, of 36cm and the diameter is such that it fits inside a demijohn.
In addition, a suitable length of 5/16 tubing will be needed to fix on to the liquid outlet.

This clip attaches to the side of a fermenting bucket or demijohn to hold a 1 gallon auto-siphon in securely in place above the sediment.
Simply snap it on, slide down to the correct position and when finished snap it off again.
