A single stroke of the inner tube starts the syphon action without disturbing the sediment. (If there is no sediment present then the sediment trap at the base can be removed so that the maximum volume of liquid can be transfered).
It has an overall length, with the inner tube retracted, of 60cm.
A suitable length of tubing is included to fix on to the liquid outlet.

This clip attaches to the side of a fermenting bucket or carboy to hold a 5 gallon auto-siphon in securely in place above the sediment.
Simply snap it on, slide down to the correct position and when finished snap it off again.
