This is a new design of heating tray, produced in New Zealand, which is an enormous improvement on anything we have been able to offer in the past few years.
The top face is 37.5cm square, which is perfect to take four 1 gallon demijohns, and it is tough enough to take the weight without sagging!
It is strongly made from flame retarded injection moulded polycarbonate, is splash resistant and being rated at 40 Watts is powerful enough to raise the temperature by about 5C whilst still remaining economical to run.
In order to prevent the possibility of sagging in the centre of the pad, this one is not recommended to be used for a 5 Gallon container - for this use the appropriate alternative specifically sized heat pad.
It is suitable for wine, kombucha, and also for kidney dialysis bags!
