Red, bolt-on handles made of vinyl-covered, plated steel that fasten to the necks of both sizes of Better-Bottle carboys with a bolt and wing nut. Red handles do not get in the way of fermentation locks and, as they are bolted firmly to the neck of the carboy, they can safely be used to lift these even at an angle.

Blue, snap-on handles fit the necks of all sizes of Better-Bottle carboys, and you will only need a few for all of your carboys. The blue handles have a comfortable grip and are made of durable, reinforced plastic. Carboys do not tip when they are lifted with the blue handles, so their contents are not disturbed.
Blue handles are designed for carrying Better-Bottle carboys in suitcase fashion. Blue handles are not designed for lifting carboys at an angle with two hands in order to place the carboys on shelves or to pour from the necks of the carboys, because the handles may disengage.
